PJ Harvey: New Single Announced
PJ Harvey On-Line can reveal that a new PJ Harvey single, A Place Called Home, will be released on February 26th. It is the second single to be released from her highly successful current album, Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea.
The single will be released on CD and limited edition 7-inch vinyl formats. The CD features two additional new tracks, As Close As This and My Own Private Revolution; the vinyl is backed with Kick It To The Ground, also a new track.
The video for A Place Called Home was shot in London in January by award winning director Sophie Muller, who also filmed the promo for Harvey's last single, Good Fortune.
Meanwhile, PJ Harvey has just embarked on her first tour of Australia and New Zealand, playing the Big Day Out Festival and a series of headline dates.
In other touring news, Harvey is set to play three sold out shows in London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on February 11th, 12th and 13th, before heading off on a headline European tour. She will then travel to the US to join U2 on their Elevation tour.
