PJ Harvey Nominated for Brit Award.
Following her most successful year to date, PJ Harvey today received her fifth Brit Award nomination in the Best Female Artist category.
Harvey's current album, Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea was recognized with the prestigious Mercury Music Awards last September, making her the first female artist ever to receive the award, while Q Magazine's 2001 Readers Poll named Harvey the Most Influential Female Artist ever.
In addition, PJ Harvey was last week nominated for two Grammy Awards, for the Best Rock Album and Best Female Vocal Performance for the single 'This Is Love' and was a finalist in the US Artistic Achievement Shortlist Award.
