P J Harvey Nominated For Prestigious South Bank Show Award.

P J Harvey's Mercury Prize winning album 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea' has been nominated for one of the UK's prestigious South Bank Show Awards. The UK awards recognise excellence in the fields of Popular Music, Literature, Dance, Theatre & Visual Arts.

P J Harvey is one of three acts to be nominated in the Popular Music Category, the other two being U2 & Roots Manuva. The ceremony takes place in London on February 6th and will be televised during The South Bank Show on ITV on February 10th.
